MYLAR STUDIES

mylar studies researches the choreographies of mylar paper through the lens of Jane Bennett’s theory that objects/materials are vibrant knowledge systems that teach/exchange with the viewer.

The study and the field notes informed many of the participatory scores devised for my interactive installation “brilliant you”.
